Take a look at some of Catherine's paintings and you will find serenity in an "otherworld" atmosphere. There is a sense of time stopped and a desire to take deep breaths and re-center yourself. Even the "provocative" cow painting (there's an interesting story behind that painting - ask Catherine sometime!) gives you a feeling of having left the world behind you. There is quiet as the fog rolls in and muffles sounds.
Then look at her paintings of sheep and pigs. These give you an image of an artist who would be fun to talk to and get to know - someone with enthusiasm about life and a slight tilt to her head as she gazes at the world with a humorous eye.
