Several years ago  Van Gogh's Van Goghs, a major exhibit of this century, left New York and was at the Los Angeles County Art Museum (LACMA).  It drew lots of visitors, attention and helped the museum increase membership extraordinarily.

There were  several articles in the LA Times about him and there was a plethora of information available. We were VG'd to death with all of the media hype. In fact, even  MTA buses sported huge ads with his paintings!

He is one of the most recognized artists ever to have lived and his contribution is awesome for such a short artistic life. Here are  some  of the web pages from the early 1999 edition of WoW!.
